The manager of Kete- Krachi cluster of world vision Irvin Aboagye has made a heartfelt appeal to teachers to accept postings to Krachi Nchumuru of the Oti Region.

He made the appeal during a donation of over 500 dual desks to the assembly for onward distribution to schools which aimed at improving the learning environment for students in the area.

In a short ceremony to handover the desk, World vision cluster manager emphasised the critical role teachers play in shaping the future of children, particularly in undeserved communities like Krachi Nchumuru district.

He noted that while many teachers hesitated to accept postings in remote areas due to various challenges, their presence is vital for fostering growth and development.

According to him, the donation of desk by World Vision aims to address the pressing issues of inadequate learning facilities in the area.

Many schools in the Krachi Nchumuru have been struggling with overcrowded classrooms and lack of essential resources hindering the educational experience for students.

Mr. Aboagye therefore urged to review their roles as not just educators but as agents of change who can inspire and uplift the next generation.

He noted that well maintained desks not only enhance the learning environment but also reflect a sense of pride in the schools community
