A wake up call for citizens involvement in Democratic governance

Yesterday March 4th ,2025, a town hall forum was organized by Center for Democratic Development ( CDD- Ghana).

The Town Hall meeting aims to gather citizens expectations of the new government and discuss key priority issues that would assist the new administration s agenda.

During each section of the forum, citizens will be presented with questions on local governance, constitutional review and amendment , anti corruption, Education, cost of politics etc.

Furthermore, the town hall forum seeks to promote social accountability and improve service delivery and by providing a platform for citizens to engage with local authorities in the decision making processes.

Finally, empower citizens, promote good governance and improve the overall quality of life in Ghanaian communities.
