Kano FM adjudged best media station in tourism promotion in Oti Region
The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has adjudged Kano fm as the outstanding media of the year for Tourism promotion in the maiden Oti Regional Tourism Awards 2024 held at Okagyakrom on 20th September,2024.
Presenting the award to Kano fm, the Oti Regional Tourism Director Mr Isaac Asiam noted that Kano fm’s contribution to tourism development is commendable.
He also called on the media houses in the Oti Region to strive to promote tourism development by highlighting the potential tourist sites in their programming.
He later awarded Kano fm with a Certificate of Execellence and a plague in Tourism promotion on behalf of Ghana Tourism Authority.
Receiving the award on behalf of Kano fm, the Acting Managress Reverend Christina Ativi thanked the Ghana Tourism Authority for the award and promised that Kano fm will do more in Tourism promotion in the stations programming in the region.
Kano fm was established in April 2020 and is committed to community development through journalism with ethical standards.
